Two-sided blank cards

  • With Front and back, every front page is followed by its back page; numbers (if switched on) match on both sides, so a misprint is easy to spot.
  • Backs carry no cut lines: cut from the front side only.
  • No duplex printer? Print one side, put the sheets back in the tray and print again. Mark one sheet with a pen first to learn which way your printer feeds.

Heavier paper

Thicker paper or card stock makes cards that last longer and hide the back text. Check which paper weights your printer accepts, and use its manual or rear feed for card stock.

Blank flashcard template FAQ

Is the blank flashcard template free?

Yes. Print it or download the PDF as often as you like. There is no account, watermark or upload; the template is drawn in your browser.

Can I print blank flashcards double-sided?

Yes. Choose Front and back, then pick the same long- or short-edge flip as in your printer's two-sided setting. The back page is mirrored so that each back lands behind its front. Print one sheet first to check.

How do I print on 3×5 index cards?

Choose 3×5 in card as the paper. Each card is one page with no cut lines. In the print dialog select the 3 × 5 in (or 5 × 3 in) paper size and 100% scale, and feed the cards through the tray your printer recommends for card stock.

What is the difference between lined and index card style?

Lined cards have light blue writing lines. Index card style adds a red line near the top, like a classic ruled index card, so you can write a heading above the lines.

Can I type my words instead of writing them?

Yes. The flashcard maker takes a typed or pasted word list or CSV and prints it in the same layouts, with fronts and backs lined up.
